Vineyards

The vineyards, planted ungrafted as there are not problems with phylloxera, are oriented on a North-South axis to benefit from the best insolation.

The conduction system is the vine arbor, due to the microclimatic characteristics of Curio Valley. The type of trimming varies according to the varietal. We believe that each plant is an individual system and that is how it is treated and recognized, taking its particular needs into consideration. Otherwise, the current trimming type is Double Guyot. Systematic thinning is performed after the fruit set, so that its full potential will be concentrated in few bunches of ultimate quality.

The harvest is hand-made to guarantee that each bunch is gently treated and quickly taken to the winery to prevent grapes from excessive warming or dust accumulation.
Once there, the process into wine transformation begins.
